Pre-registration is required.Classes with fewer than 5 students enrolled will be rescheduled. Refund Policy: A cancellation request received 5 or more business days prior to scheduled class is eligible for a refund minus a 5% administrative fee. Cancellations made less than 5 business days prior to the course are subject to a $15.00 cancellation fee. Students who are a “No Show” to the course are not eligible for a refund.

BLS CPR

This American Heart Association BLS Provider certification class is an Advanced CPR training class for individuals who have a job-related duty to respond to emergencies. Participants learn how to recognize and provide care in respiratory and cardiac emergencies for adults, children and infants, with special emphasis on two rescuer, and Multi-Rescuer High Performance Team CPR, use of the bag mask and Automated External Defibrillator AED.

Renewal

BLS Provider Renewal

This American Heart Association BLS Provider certification Renewal class is an Advanced CPR certification training class for Healthcare professionals who have previously completed the American Heart Association BLS Provider course within the last 2 years. Participants MUST bring their previous American Heart Association BLS Provider eCard with them to this BLS certification renewal course in order to participate.

Participants will review how to recognize and provide care in respiratory and cardiac emergencies for adults, children and infants, with special emphasis on two rescuer, and Multi-Rescuer High Performance Team CPR, use of the bag mask and Automated External Defibrillator AED.

  • If your certification is more than 30 days expired, you are no longer eligible to take a renewal
  • American Heart Association BLS Provider CPR eCard issued the day of class via email

Blended Learning

Skills Session - Basic Life Support CPR

  • Duration: 2 hours
This American Heart Association BLS Provider certification skills session is the hands-on portion of the AHA Blended eLearning course HeartCode BLS and includes skills the practice and testing components. It is conducted in-person after a student completes the HeartCode BLS Online course (sold separately). The Heartcode BLS online course is approximately 2 hours in length. Click here to contact EMSTAR. Participants must complete the online course and bring the completion certificate to the skills session class in order to participate. Upon successful completion of the skills session, participants will receive the American Heart Association BLS Provider electronic Certificate and eCard via email.
