COURSE OVERVIEW:
The purpose of the ACLS course is to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to perform as a member of an advanced life support team. Students will learn how to manage a variety of ACLS cases, including respiratory arrest, four types of cardiac arrest, four types of pre-arrest emergencies, and stroke.
This course is recommended for emergency, intensive care or critical care personnel; emergency medical providers such as physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, paramedics, and respiratory therapists.

Registration deadline is 2 weeks prior to the course. Acceptance of registration is based on receipt of payment and completed registration form.

Computerized ACLS:
Course completion consists of two separate elements: completing the computer-based cognitive portion and demonstrating skills to an AHA ACLS Instructor.

Cancellation/Refund Policy
EMSTAR reserves the right to cancel a course up to the day of the course. A refund minus the cost of course materials will be given or placement in the next available course. If participant cancels, refunds will be given minus the cost of course materials, provided cancellation is received 72 hours prior to the course.
